Marilyn Ella Brewer 19412021 avis de deces

Marilyn Ella Brewer
1941-2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Ella
(Brawn) Brewer of Zealand, NB on October 23, 2021 at the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital. Marilyn was born on April 21, 1941 in Hainesville,
NB, the third child of William and Ruby (Wilkins) Brawn.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 61 years, Larry E. Brewer, two
daughters, Michelle Tucker (Calvin), Leslie Brewer-MacNeill, and a son
Trevor (Shana); eight grandchildren Amanda Brewer, Mack Sharpe
(Ashley), Emma Tucker (Lucas), Peter MacNeill, Jordyn MacNeill
(Matthew), Caitlin, Colbin and Ashtyn Brewer; three great-grandsons,
Josh Brewer, Trenton Anderson and Wyatt Sharpe. Marilyn is also
survived by her sister Gayle Christie, brothers Allen Brawn (Faye),
Bob Brawn, Joe Brawn (Gladys) and Kevin Brawn (Crystal); a
sister-in-law, Elizabeth Brawn and several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her siblings
Marjorie Rediker (late Earl), Ronald Brawn; her granddaughter, Mikaela
Brewer and her cat, Fat Jack.
Mom loved her flowers and spent her summers caring for them. She
enjoyed trips to town with her sister, visits with her brothers, and
watching her afternoon soaps but her most loved treasure was the time
she spent with family. “Nan’s” pride and joy were
her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they adored her.
Family gatherings were always loud and rambunctious, and filled with
laughter, especially at Christmas. Mom took great pride in her
Christmas tree too. It was always beautifully decorated and admired
by all.
Mom inspired so many people with her strong will to live a full life,
even with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in her mid-forties. Her
amazing sense of humour and her ability to laugh at herself provided
many moments of laughter and entertainment to those who were blessed
to be in her life. She fought the fight until her very last breath
was taken.
Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ICU at the DECH for
their empathic and compassionate care of Mom. Special thanks to her
home health care workers, especially Christie, who spent hours playing
Yahtzee with Mom.
A private funeral service for Marilyn will be held at Flewelling
Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB with interment following at
Zealand Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mack Sharpe, Peter MacNeill, Jordyn MacNeill,
Calvin Tucker, Keith Foreman, Jennifer Sharpe, Lucas Lunn and Matt
McFadyen.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Marilyn the family
has suggested the Zealand Community Cemetery.
