Marilyn Ann Tremblay
January 7, 1938 – August 29, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce that Marilyn Ann Tremblay (née Ball) passed away suddenly, at her home in Bracebridge, on August 29, 2021. She was in her 84th year. Marilyn was the devoted wife to Garnet Tremblay, who predeceased her in 2012. Cherished mother of Beth Jorginson (John), Mark Tremblay (Helen), Chris Tremblay (Shelly), and Lisa Beaudry (Dan). Dear sister of Susan Robertson (Alex). Predeceased by her sisters Gwen Kirkness (Roy), and Pauline Dawson (Harold). Marilyn will be deeply missed by her many grandchildren, Josh, Tanner, Alex, Jordan, Ben, Cody, Meaghan, Brittany, Carter, Christopher, Natalie, Austin, and Abby.
Marilyn lived her whole life in Bracebridge. As she spent 53 years married to Garnet, her life was spent focussed on family. She worked for many years as a health care aid at The Pines. She was a devoted parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Marilyn loved her dogs, most recently her Sheltie, Sammy, who misses her dearly.
In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation between 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the Reynolds Funeral Home, in Bracebridge Ontario. A Funeral will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, in Bracebridge, at 1:00 pm on Friday September 3, 2021, with a private interment to follow.
In her memory, donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society (www.ontariospca.ca) or the Town of Bracebridge for the upkeep of The Three Amigos Off Leash Dog Park. Messages of condolence may be shared at www.reynoldsfuneral.com.
