Obituary of Marie McIntosh
On Monday, August 16, 2021, Marie McIntosh formerly of Clinton passed away peacefully at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of late John McIntosh who predeceased her in 2014. Devoted mother of Michael & Ella McIntosh of Sprucedale, David McIntosh of Tillsonburg, Robert & Brenda McIntosh of Walton, Kim Breyley of Ohio, Janet Koehler of Vanastra, Heather & Rod Jones of Lucknow, Chris & Stephanie McIntosh of Palmerston and Paul McIntosh of Crediton. Cherished grandma of twenty grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Corrine Logie, June Theander and Margaret McIntosh. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her several nieces and nephews and her extended family. Predeceased by her parents Carl & Vera (Widmeyer) Gateman, daughter-in-law Carole McIntosh, sister Blanche Sickle (Glen), brother Mel Gateman, brothers-in-law Don McIntosh (Mary) and Richard McIntosh and sisters-in-law Patricia Pullen (Roy) and Elizabeth McIntosh.
A private graveside service and interment will take place on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave. A celebration of Marie’s life will be held at a later date with details to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to your local food bank or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
