In Loving Memory Of
Marie Louise Biro
Marie Louise Biro (nee Bernard) resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Edson AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, at the age of 83 years.
Marie was born June 20, 1937, in Sainte Rose du Lac, MB, to Marcel and Julienne Bernard.
Many will remember Marie for her love of baking, cooking holiday meals for friends and family, her enjoyment of sewing and other crafts, and cheating at cards. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, spending time with family, and was an avid curling fan. Marie was a prankster, she loved a good laugh and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour.
Marie is survived by her children: Harvey, Vivian, Donna (Casey), Dennis (Margaret), Gary, Dora (Rick), Sheri (Howard), John (Erin); numerous grandchildren; as well as sister Rita Landry of Quesnel, BC.
Marie was predeceased by her loving husband Paul of Edson AB, in 2004; two grandchildren Mark Roersma and Chad Larson; as well as seven siblings.
As per Marie’s wishes, her ashes will be interred, along with her late husband’s at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that the spirit of Marie’s generosity move you to donate to the charity of your choice.
