LAIDLAW, Marie Edith –
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Wellington Hospice on June 9th, 2021. Loving wife of William (Bill) Laidlaw, mother of Diane Forbes (Gordon) and Robert (Pamela MacEachern). Marie will be missed by her grandchildren Michael and Kevin Forbes, Ryan and Steven Laidlaw, Matthew Lee and great grandson Noah Forbes, nephews David and Darren, and sister in law Dorothy (David, 1999). Marie was predeceased by her parents David and Ivy (Carter).
Marie’s passion was her IODE activities and her bi-weekly game of Bridge. Reading was also an enjoyment. She loved spending time with her family who will miss her dearly and her sense of humour.
As per Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment to take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Due to the COVID restrictions, the service will be by invitation only All are welcome to join the live stream on the internet via ZOOM on Monday, June 14th at 10:00am. Link is below. If so desired, memorial donations to Hospice Wellington, Guelph General Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Donations can be made online following the charity link or in person at the funeral home.
