BENDER, Marie (nee Roth) – passed away peacefully at Greenwood Court, Stratford on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 93 years.
She was born in Wilmot Township, Waterloo County on June 10, 1927 a daughter of the late Emanuel and Salome Roth.
She married Harold Bender on June 7, 1952. He predeceased her on November 19, 2014. She was predeceased by her daughter, Anne Bowyer on May 5, 2006. Harold and Marie had farmed on the 16th line of East Zorra Township and were members of Cassel Mennonite Church.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Mary Bender and her husband David Reid; two sons, Marvin Bender, Alan “Jim” Bender and his wife Angela; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her sister, Edna Miller and her husband Robert; her sister-in-law, Mary Roth.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur Roth, Clayton Roth, Joe Roth and his wife Nancy.
Burial will be in East Zorra 17th Line E.U.B Cemetery.
