Maria Gray
1947-2021
MONCTON, NB – Maria Gray, 73, of Moncton passed
away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital
Centre on Friday, July 9th, 2021. Born in
Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine
(Manuel) Gray. Before her retirement, Maria worked for several fish
and lobster processing plants.
Maria leaves to mourn her life partner, Jean-Guy LeBreton;
her daughter Denise Cormier (Bernard LeBlanc) of Moncton; her two
sons, Denis Cormier (Nicole Hébert) of Kouchibouguac and
Marc Cormier of Pointe-Sapin; as well as her three grandchildren,
Patrick LeBlanc, Julie LeBlanc and Janick Cormier.
Maria will also be sadly missed by her three sisters,
Cécile Doucet (Graham) of Saint-Louis, Elmonde Daigle
(Firmain) of Pointe-Sapin and Emma Daigle (Fred) of Kouchibouguac; one
sister-in-law, Claudine Gray (late Luc) of Saint-Louis; as well as by
her many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Maria was predeceased by two sisters,
Jacqueline Gray and Rita Daigle; and two brothers, Armand Gray and Luc
Gray.
As per Maria’s wishes, there will be no visitation
at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday,
July 14th, 2021 at 4:00pm, St.
Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. If so desired,
donations made in Maria’s memory to the CHU Dumont
Foundation (Cardiology Department) (www.dumontfoundation.ca)
would be appreciated by the family.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, masks are mandatory at all times
inside the church and we ask that social distancing be
respected.
