Maria’s Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria on December 5, 2021 at Grace Villa Nursing home in her 66th year. Devoted Wife of Salvador. Beloved Mother of Grace Nogueira (Luis), Suzy Melo (Brian Hackman), Mike Melo (Melanie) and David Melo (Sestina). Adored Avo of Ricardo, Tatyana, Marissa, Alex, Maya, Milena, Matteo and Miguel. Dear sister of Joe Raposo (Anna), Teresa Maciel (Antonio), John Raposo (Maureen) and Octavio Raposo (Mirella). Predeceased by her parents Jose and Idalina. Maria will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many extended family and friends, in Canada and Portugal. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. Our family wish to thank the staff at Grace Villa for all of their care & compassion. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., on Thursday December 9th, 2021 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm to 9pm.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary’s Church on Friday December 10th, 2021 at 10am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. In keeping with COVID-19 precautions, all guests must practice physical distancing and wear a face covering. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
