ALMEIDA, Maria De Lurdes – Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Brantford General Hospital in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Dinarte Almeida. Dear mother of Goretti Rodrigues (Joe), Fernanda Almeida (Floyd), Lucy Cordeiro (Daciel), Maria Salkhordeh (Mehrzad), and Susan Racco (Domenic). She will be sadly missed by her eleven grandchildren; Julie, Ashley, Vanessa, Michelle, Floyd, Felisha, Jordan, Ryan, Mateo, Carina, Ariana and her nine great-grandchildren; Malaki, Alia, Isaiah, Iylah, Luca, Roman, Milena, Lincoln, and Theo. Survived by her brothers Florimundo and Fernando and predeceased by her parents Jose Martins and Maria Da Costa and brothers Jose, Miguel, and Liberal. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge where family will receive friends on Monday, December 13 from 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. COVID 19 measures are in place with masks to be worn as well as social distancing.
