Maria’s Obituary
Maria Esther Adriao, long time resident of Peace River (AB), passed away at 84 years. She was born in Violeiro, Portugal. She came to Canada, only after she was married.
Retiring in 2005, from Housekeeping/Laundry Service at Peace Valley Inns, Maria carried on a hard work ethic. She did everything for her family. But, to relax, she would crochet, knitt and garden.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Joaquim and Augusta Vaz.
Maria is survived by husband John; daughters Fernanda Adriao and Ezabel (André) Lamoureux; son Franky (Melanie); her grandchildren; friends; and, family in her native Portugal.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Paul’s Parish in Airdrie (AB), on Saturday, August 28th, 2021, at 1:00pm.
Interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery (1515 100 St. SE, Calgary, AB).
