Gregory, Marguerite Rose – 79, Great Village
passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 in the QEII Health
Sciences Centre, surrounded by her family. Born in Alma, New
Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Randall and Dorothy
(Bannister) Jordan.
Marguerite was well known and loved by many. She enjoyed her
time spent with family making memories at the camp, baking pies,
knitting and going to the jams. She adored her family and spending
time with her grandchildren.
Marguerite is survived by her loving children, daughter,
Nancy (Clayton) Williams; son, Mark (Krista) Gregory; grandchildren,
Jordan, Nathan, Connor, Cole and Sarah; bonus grandchildren, Erin and
Carrie Barclay; sister, Darlene Jordan; special uncle,
Edmond Jordan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Upert Gregory; sisters,
Phyllis and Paulette Rushton, Linda Jordan in infancy; brothers, Gary
and Donald Jordan, Jackie Jordan in infancy; granddaughter, Taylor
Gregory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall-Varner Funeral
Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, from where visitation will be held 6-8
pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 and funeral service 2 pm Wednesday, June
30, 2021, The Reverend Lori Ramsey officiating. Interment
will be held at a later date in Folly Mountain Cemetery. (Due to
Covid-19 restrictions, seating is limited and we ask that you call

you for your understanding. Masks must be worn and physical distancing
will apply. Webcasting of the funeral service will be available on
