On July 4, 2021, Mrs. Margaret Modin of Elk Point passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her children, Roderick (Cherie) Modin, Valerie (Harvey) Younker & Beverly (Ivan) Peterson; 10 grandchildren, Sheryl, Patricia, Megan, Bobbi, Leah, Joshua, Stewart, Daniel, Rachel & Benjamin; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, George Anderson; sister, Hannah McDonald; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Modin was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; son, Allan; parents, William & Emma Anderson; sister, Bella Ford; 2 brothers-in-law, Fred Ford & Hartley McDonald. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Elk Point Baptist Church, Elk Point. Pastor Jim MacLellan will be officiating with interment in Elk Point East Cemetery, Elk Point.
