Margaret “Margie”‘s Obituary
PARKS, Margaret “Margie” Rose ~ age 77, of Kingston, NS, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Willoughby Delbar and Alice Leona (Crocker) Gates. Margie leaves behind a family that mourns her passing. A heart felt thank you to Palliative Care and the Valley Hospice for all their care, kindness and compassion. She is survived by her sons, Hugh (Lorelei), Slave Lake, AB; and Daren (Lisa), Greenwood; sisters, Arlene (Fred) McKay, Greenwood Square; Penny Gates, Aylesford; brother, Carl Gates (Sue), South Farmington; granddaughters, Alicia, Taylor and Logan and two great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Merrill, Mary, Janet, Frederick and Ruth. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Palliative Care or Valley Hospice.
