Swayzie, Margaret “Marg” age 75 passed away peacefully at Dartmouth General Hospital on August 16th, 2021.Born in Neil’s Harbour NS in 1945. Margaret was an RN with the Nova Scotia Hospital for 20+ years until retirement.
Margaret enjoyed watching TV game shows, spending time with her grandchildren and playing cards with her family and friends. She also loved visiting her second home, Ingonish NS.
She was predeceased by her father Isaac, her mother Annie, nephew Jamie, brother-in-law Clifford, and sister-in-law Kay.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kelly-Ann (TD Edison), son Vance , daughter Rosa (Jordan), son Billie-Jo. Grandchildren, Hannah, Chase, Maggie, Jersey, Lily, Samantha , Cody and Jensen. Brother John (Sharon), brother Lawrence (Reenie), brother Jerry (Janette), sister Mary Helen, sister Marion, brother Phillip and good friend Kim.
The family would like to thank the staff at Dartmouth General for giving Margaret special care and always making sure she was comfortable.
A small service with family and close friends will be held at the St. Andrew’s rectory in Eastern Passage NS on Wednesday Aug 25th at 1pm.
