Margaret Di Persio 2021

Margaret Di Persio
April 1, 1930 ~ July 8, 2021
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Margaret Di Persio (nee Carse), on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Beloved wife of Luigi Di Persio. Cherished mother of Celia Montebello (Ray) and Ralph Di Persio. Devoted and caring Nana of Amanda, Nicholas, Erika and Matteo. Dearest brother of Bill Carse and the late Randall Carse. Loving daughter of the late William and Anne Carse.
Margaret was born April 1, 1930 in Edinburgh, Scotland and emigrated to Canada in 1959 where she met her loving husband and started their family. Margaret will forever be remembered for her strong will, sense of humour, and genuine nature. She had a passion for many things in life, but her family and friends were the most important to her. The memories made with her family will live on in them forever and she will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada www.parkinson.ca/, in memory of Margaret.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be a private family Funeral Mass and Entombment on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 10:30 am.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Margaret Di Persio 2021..

  1. Dear Celia I am sorry for the loss of your Mom. I was telling my husband about the happy times as a young woman at MTO and working with your Mom and Mildred Portuondo just last week. Your Mom was very good to me and she always had a laugh. As well, I think she, not the engineers, was really in charge. She kept things running smoothly. With sympathy for your loss,
