Marg Wichels nee Gillespie 2021

Passed away peacefully with her husband by her side at Sun Parlor Home in Leamington on December 30, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved wife and “Brown-Eyed Beauty” of Ron for nearly 70 years. Devoted loving mother of David Wichels (Janis), Dianna “Dee” Woods (Rod), and Donna Rivard (Ed). Cherished warm-hearted grandma of Peter (Miera), Tara (Chris); Brian, Amanda (Roman), Heather (Sameer), Russell (Amanda); Aric (Melissa), and Dustin (Angelika) and great-grandmother of Paige, Sean; Madison, August; Faith, Xandria; Kamden, Sawyer, the late Jacob (2013); Aidan, Hunter, and Hailiegh. Survived by her sisters Viola Oliver and Eileen Mancil.
Marg was a former reception secretary at Xerox and Secretary to the General Manager of Daal Specialties.
She was a long standing member at New Beginnings Community Church. Marg enjoyed many years with the family at the cottage at Sauble Beach, where they will always see her in the sunsets. Special thanks to the wonderful team at Sun Parlor Home in Leamington, especially 1 West, for their compassion and love that they showed Margaret and the family. For those who wish, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Es County would be appreciated.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held with cremation to follow.
