MANSEL EDWARD THOMAS HILL
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mansel Hill of Cobden, who passed away peacefully in Caressant Care Nursing Home Cobden, on Wednesday December 29, 2021 in his 99th year. Mansel Hill, beloved husband of the late Olive Hill nee Miller, will be missed by his children Dick (Irene) Hill, Bev Hill and Nancy (Philip Broome), daughter-in-law Eileen Hill, as well as his 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters-in-law Neeta Moore, Geraldine Miller and Shirley Miller. He is predeceased by a son Don Hill and siblings Edith (George Dunn), Helen (Gerry Lanouette), Blanche (Lindsay Carnegie), brothers-in-law Bill Moore, Orval and Floyd Miller, and sisters-in-law Hazel (Jack Purcell) and Eileen (Clarence McBride). Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Saturday January 1, 2022 from 11am until 1:30pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family funeral will be held in St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cobden at 2pm. Spring internment Cobden Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to The Cobden Food Bank, Renfrew Sunshine Coach or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
