MALTAIS, FRANCIS LEO
1943 – 2021
It is with great sadness the family of Francis Maltais announces his passing, on November 10, 2021 at the age of 78, after 3 full periods and a double overtime loss against Alzheimer’s Disease.
Francis “Franco” Maltais will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife Glenda, brothers Dwayne (Joanne) and Daryl (Val); children Kent (Elena), Michelle (Don), Cheryl (Chad) and grandchildren Kael, Marae, Malia, Ty, Ella and Lucia as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws and relatives.
Franco was pre-deceased by his parents, Helen and Leo Maltais, as well as his wife of 33 years, Doreen Maltais.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Copper Sky in Spruce Grove and the Good Samaritan in Stony Plain for their kindness, support and care shown to Franco during his stay.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta/NWT in the name of Francis Maltais
