Magdalena Pocantos (Schlosser)
Gone home to be with the Lord!
Passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021. Predeceased by her husband Joseph (1987). Survived by her loving companion and cherished partner, Calvin Stewart of 18 years. Loving mother of Hilda (Peter) Ryan, Enne Bond, late Katie (2016) Ledson McLean, Rosemary Pocantos, late John Thomas (2009) and Elisabeth Pocantos. Loving grandmother (Oma) of Andrew (Amanda), Audrie (Neal), Matthew (Brenda), Robert (Samantha), Karen (Kevin), Vicki, James, Cortney, late Jacob (2000) and 12 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings John, Tony and Katarina. Magdalena loved dancing, was a lifelong devoted CWL member, and won many bowling trophies in a sport she excelled at. Her great personality was endearing to so many friends she made over time. She shared a lifelong friendship with Elizabeth Welzel. A private family service was held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. You may send your online condolences to www.geraldsmith.ca.
