Obituary for
Mabel Wynnyk (nee Faryna)
On January 21, 2021 Mabel Wynnyk, formerly of Holden, AB, passed away peacefully at the Youville Home in St. Albert. She was much loved by her family who are left to mourn her passing, son, Jim (Annette); daughter, Linda Dzugan (Gene); daughter-in-law, Cynthia; grandchildren, Greg Wynnyk (Melanie), Rachelle Allenby (Daryl), Christina Stockdale (Chris), Laura Shiells (Ken), Kathy Lewin (Greg), James Wynnyk and Ferne Wynnyk; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Jackson, Callum, Evan, Abby, Ryan, Carley, Taryn, Haley and Noah; sister, Elsie Holyk (Ray); and numerous nieces and nephews. Mabel was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; son, Patrick; parents, Prokip and Mary Faryna; brother, David Faryna; sisters, Dora Faryna, Myrtle Kushnerick and Jennie Babie.
Sincere thanks to the staff of Unit 4 at the Youville Home for their care and kindness. Due to pandemic restrictions, a private Divine Liturgy will be held Friday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. The Divine Liturgy will be live-streamed at www.parkmemorial.com Mabel Wynnyk Book of Memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.
