Obituary of Luetta Bernice Ross
Ross, Luetta Bernice -Age 64 of Bridgewater, passed away September 9, 2021, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, she lived in New Cumberland with her paternal grandparents, Stanley, and Nellie (Meisner) Corkum, until she married her husband, Brent Ross in 2006. She is survived by husband, Brent; brother, Wilfred; sisters, Zelda, Tina; Amanda. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Stanley, and Nellie Corkum; parents, Oliver, and Hilda (Cross) Corkum; maternal grandparents, Carmon, and Florence Cross.
Luetta worked as a seamstress in Creaser’s factory, LaHave and spent seven years in Manitoba where she was a greeter at Walmart.
Private visitation will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 14 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service to follow at 2 p.m., with Eric Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow in New Cumberland Cemetery, where the public is welcome to attend. Donations in Luetta’s memory may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
