Lucille T.
MacLean (nee MacDonald), formerly of Orwell Cove, passed away
peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, January 31,
2021, at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge.
Born
on May 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Flora
(Laura Matheson) MacDonald.
Lucille was the
beloved wife to the late Edison MacLean and a loving and devoted
mother to her children Floyd (Cathie), Maureen Larter(David), David
(Brenda) and predeceased by her eldest sons Harold and
Clair.
She will be forever remembered
by her grandchildren Jessica Foster (Craig), Mary Beth McAskill
(Cameron), Maria Harris (Jeff), Cassie MacLean (Mitchel) and Carley
MacLean (Nathan) and her adored great grandchildren Regan, Emma,
Charlotte, Violet, Ruby, Jacob, Benjamin and Katherine; sister Edythe
and sisters-in-law Dottie MacDonald, Helen MacDonald, many nieces and
nephews
Predeceased by sisters and
brothers Laureta Larrabee (Austin), Ruby MacWilliams (Johnny), Malcolm
(Isabel) MacDonald, Annalene Strachan (John), Marion MacKenzie
(Robert),Albert MacDonald, Mary MacAllister (Alex), Billy MacDonald,
Thelma MacTavish (Sinclair); brothers-in-law, Charles Gillis and
Reginald (Sybil) and Alfred (Kitty).
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Funeral Home. Private family Funeral Service to take
place on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
If so desired,
in lieu of flowers donations in memory of Lucille can be made to St.
John’s Presbyterian Cemetery Fund.
