It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lucien Levasseur, age 91, of Swift Current and formerly of Ponteix wish to announce his passing on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Regina General Hospital due to complications of Chronic Obstruction Pulmonary Disease (COPD) after surgery for a broken hip.
Lucien is survived by his wife, Helen (nee Laverdiere) Levasseur; his sons, Alain (Betty) Levasseur and Leo (Carolyn) Levasseur; and by his step-grandson, Liam Koochin.
The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. from Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church In Swift Current.. For those wishing to attend the Funeral Mass, please call the Church office at (306) 773-9524 to register.
The Private Family Interment Service for Mr. Lucien Levasseur will take place at a later date.
In memory of Lucien Levasseur, donations made to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
