LOUIS PAUL BLANDIN
On February 16 2021, a true angel was called back to Heaven. Louis Paul Blandin was the gentlest, most genuine, loving and sincere soul to have ever graced this earth. There are not enough words to describe the profound impact that this amazing man had on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. Louis was a devoted family man who adored his beloved wife and family, with whom he enjoyed many activities including fishing and camping. He especially loved his time living at his hobby farm training wild horses, and spending time at the family cottage near the ocean. He treasured his home on the lake, where he found peace and spent most of his free time, keeping busy with various projects.
Louis was a strong, hard working man; a proud and active member of the United Association Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 56 union. He was deeply involved in various aspects of union business for over 50 years. When he retired, he became an instructor of plumbing and pipefitting at NSCC Akerley, where he taught and mentored young minds.
Louis is survived by the true love of his life, his wife for nearly 60 years Roberta Blandin. He is survived by his daughters: Dorothy, Katrina (Renee), Jessica and Kiera; his son Louis (Rowena), his grandsons Ryan and Kyle, and his granddaughter Rhyza. The loss of Louis is one that will be endlessly mourned by his family and loved ones, he was truly the greatest man that many of us have ever, or will ever know; our family is forever broken and life will never be the same.
