Obituary of Lorne Corbett
Corbett, Lawrence Thomas Ross “Lorne” – Peacefully, on Friday June 11, 2021 at the Georgetown Hospital. Lorne, in his 95th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years, Marion Corbett (2015). Loving father of Sandy (Mike) Sherry and Robert (Donna). Proud grandpa of Lorne (Stacey) and Donna (Scott). Great Grandpa of Brittany, Brooke, Zack, Mariah, Selina, Landon and Dawson. Great Great Grandpa of Oakley and Mila. Lorne was a long term employee of DRG Stationery, Georgetown, and proudly served in the Canadian Navy at the end of the war, stationed in Halifax. A private family service will be held in the chapel at the Jones Funeral Home, Georgetown (905) 877-3631. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. Memorial contributions to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Family and friends are invited to view Lorne’s funeral service by livestream on Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 11 a.m.
