Lorene Wentland of Medicine Hat, AB passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the age of 95 years. Lorene is survived by her children, Larry Wentland (Marilyn Gayle), and Carol Wold (Leon Tremblay); her grandson, Terence Wold; and her great grandson, Elijah Rondeau-Wold. Lorene is predeceased by her husband, Gustav “Gus”; her parents, William and Anne Maier; as well as all of her siblings. Born and raised in Ogema, Lorene attended school in Ogema, SK and Moosehorn, MB. She lived in Moosehorn, relocated to Regina (where she worked as a jeweler) before settling in Medicine Hat in the early 1990’s where she retired. Lorene enjoyed gardening, dancing and travelling. The private graveside service for Lorene will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Medicine Hat on Thursday, March 4 at with Gary W. Goran officiating.
