Lillian “Iva” Williams Robinson was born in
Lakeland, Florida on July 18, 1929, the only daughter of Debbie Odessa
and Lewis Ashley Williams. She passed away October 30, 2021, at St.
Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Iva was married to Winfield “Bud” Robinson,
until he preceded her in death in 1998. She considered his birthplace,
White Head Island, Canada, home. Iva’s greatest joy and
interest was her family – children, grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader, loved puzzles, and
cooking – even at 92. She will be forever remembered for her
baking skills and loving support of others, including her phone calls
to wish others a happy birthday.
Iva is survived by her children, Linda (Barry) Kilch and
Scott (Patty) Robinson; grandchildren: Lori (Ben), Jessica
(Stephanie), Heather (Dean), Ben (Shakira), Sarah (Brian) and Joseph
(Rebecca); great-grandchildren: Zoe, Lilah, Maris, Jack,
Memphis, Austin, Bella, Keiran, Sophie and Lily. She is also
survived by a much beloved sister-in-law, Dorothy Williams and her
family.
Iva was predeceased by her husband Bud, her parents, brothers
Gerald and Ollin Williams, and her much loved grandson-in-law, Steven
Gaffney.
For those who wish, donations in Iva’s memory may
be made to the White Head Cemetery Fund. A committal service is
planned for summer 2022.
