À L’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 15 janvier 2021, à l’âge de 90 ans et 7 mois, est décédé l’Honorable Robert “Bob“ Rice, domicilié à Lac Baker, époux de Mme Colette Michaud.
Outre son épouse, il laisse dans la peine mais également avec de merveilleux souvenirs, ses enfants : Diane de Drummondville QC, Charles de Québec, Patricia “Patsy“ de Clarenceville QC, James de Montréal, Louise (Carmen) de Québec, les enfants de son épouse : Jacques Couturier d’Edmundston, Chantal Couturier (Yannick Thompson) de Gatineau QC, ses petits-enfants : Naomie, Félix, Chanie, Alexandra, Isaac, Evaan, Zaël, son arrière-petit-fils Nathaniel aisni que ses sœurs : Mona Whalen (Hugh) d’Ottawa ON, et Patsy Hummel (John) de Lawrence KA. Il repose maintenant auprès de ses parents : M. Edward Rice et Mme Maude Bérubé, ses frères et sœurs : Francis, Theresa, Ruth, Eileen, Kathleen, Grace, Connie, Donald, Charles et Anne.
Afin de respecter les volontés de M. Rice, il n’Y aura pas d’exposition ni de funérailles.
La famille remercie sincèrement les médecins et le personnel de l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston pour les excellents soins qu’il a reçus.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of the Honorable Robert “Bob“ Rice, resident of Baker Lake NB, husband of Mrs. Colette Michaud. He passed away peacefully on January 15, 2021, at the Edmundston Regional Hospital, at the age of 90 years and 7 months.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Diane from Drummondville QC, Charles fromQuébec, Patricia “Patsy“ fromClarenceville QC, James from Montréal, Louise (Carmen) from Québec, his wife’s children : Jacques Couturier from Edmundston, Chantal Couturier (Yannick Thompson) from Gatineau QC, his grandchildren : Naomie, Félix, Chanie, Alexandra, Isaac, Evaan, Zaël, his great-grandson Nathaniel and his sisters : Mona Whalen (Hugh) from Ottawa ON and Patsy Hummel (John) from Lawrence KA. He was predeceased by his parents: Mr. Edward Rice and Mrs. Maude Bérubé, his brothers and sisters: Francis, Theresa, Ruth, Eileen, Kathleen, Grace, Connie, Donald, Charles and Anne.
In order to respect his last wishes, there will be no viewing and no funerals.
