It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Leonardo Furiato, on September 12,2021 at the age of 75.
Beloved husband to Mary Furiato (nee Ritacca). Cherished father of Phyllis and her husband Mike,
De Anne and her husband Lawrence. Devoted and caring Nonno of Anthony, Leanora, Luke, Lauren and Adrian.
Leonardo will be forever remembered by many family members including his 6 brothers and 4 sisters as well as his friends here in Canada, Florida and Italy.
Leonardo was born July 30,1946 in Cassano all’lonio, Italy. Loving son of the late Antonio Furiato and Filomena Basile.
If desired, flowers are welcomed or a donation in his memory to Sunnybrook (Lymphoma) Health Sciences Odette Centre.
Visitation will be open and held at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home between 5-8pm on Wednesday September 15,2021 and Thursday September 16, from 10:30am – 11:45am.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a Private Funeral Mass and Burial on Thursday September 16,2021 at 12:00pm at Holy Cross Cemetery.
