Passed away suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday December 19, 2021 at the age of 76. John Dyte of Orillia, beloved husband of former wife the late Hazel Dyte. Loving father of Amy Dyte and Jennifer Shelswell (Curtis). Loved grandfather of Kady, Jack, Hillary, Cameron and Holly. Dear brother of Jane Lamoreaux, Jim Dyte (Susan) and Jody Kendall. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. John will be remembered as an avid hunter and outdoorsman who had a passion for life, his family, friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
