Peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Tuesday December 7, 2021. Léo Théorêt formerly of Green Valley; age 85 years. Beloved husband of Bertha Théorêt (née Beaupré). Loving father of Nicole Sarault (Éloi Vandette), Denise Frappier (François), Leonel (Connie) and Aline Théorêt (Luc Ranger). Dear brother of Ronald (Danielle), and Germaine Drolet (late Marcel). Predeceased by brothers Fernand (late Kathleen) and Alcide (Edna), and by sisters Gisèle Bellefeuille (Paul) and Yvonne Gauthier (late Donat), Dear son of the late Henri Théorêt and the late Marie-Louise Carriere. Survived by his loving grandchildren Natalie, Julie, Zacharie, Corey, Sophie, Christian, Kayla and Danika and by his seven great-grandchildren. A special thank you to the staff at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Cornwall Community Hospital and the Ottawa Heart Institute for their care. Relatives and friends may attend a visitation at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Marie de l’assomption on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11 am. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings.
