On November 4, 2021, Mrs. Lenore Bjornstad of Edmonton, formerly of Elk Point, passed away at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her children, Marvin (Heather), Mavis (Gerry) Smereka, Kevin (Karen), Gary (Tracy), Karen (Rob) Norman & Stacey; son-in-law, Art Romanchuk; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Kathy) Ford; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Bjornstad was predeceased by her husband, Elmer; parents, George & Francis Ford; daughter, Lorna Mae Romanchuk. A Private Memorial Service will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place in the spring of 2022 in Mooswa Cemetery, Lindbergh. If desired, donations may be made to Elk Point Heritage Lodge c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, Alberta T0A 3A1.
