Lena Pauline Johner December 2nd 2021

In Loving memory of
Lena Pauline Johner
1937-2021
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Lena Pauline Johner in Lacombe, AB on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 84.
Lena is lovingly remembered by her husband, Tony; 4 children, Charles (Ruth), Brian (Michelle), Julia (Yoenne), and Sandra (Mike); 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, Tony’s children, Darlene (Ike), Laura (Dennis), Barb (Gary), Gord (Annette), and Leslie (Will); 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Lena was predeceased by her first husband, Henry of 35 years.
It was during that time she found the love of singing, music & old time dancing. She learned to play the bass guitar & autoharp then joined a band with Henry playing at community dances. Her love of family, friends and involvement in the community clearly reflects on those she had touched. Lena loved to travel & enjoyed 6 years as a snowbird. Lena’s strong faith guided her throughout her life, providing her peace.
In 1995, she moved to Lacombe where she met her present husband of 17 years, Tony Johner. Their favorite activities were golfing & travelling. Her devotion clearly reflected in ensuring Tony was cared for.
In your hands O Lord,
We humbly entrust our sister Lena Pauline Johner.
In this life you embraced her with your tender love,
deliver her now to your loving arms
and bid her eternal rest.
Welcome her into paradise,
where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain
but fullness of peace and joy
with your Son and the Holy Spirit
forever and ever.
Amen
