Lawrence S McIntyre 1946 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lawrence
S. McIntyre at his home in McAdam, NB on Saturday, November 27,
2021.
Born in 1946, Lawrence was the son of the late Hedley and
Irene McIntyre.
Lawrence was a loyal McAdamite, living there for most of his
life before moving to White Head Island. He and Linda lived there for
17 years before returning to McAdam.
Lawrence will be remembered for loving his wife, his
good-natured ribbing of people, collecting bottles and scrap metal,
never being able to say aluminum correctly and always wanting a senior
discount at the Save Easy. Lawrence and Linda loved to fish, go for
drives in the woods, hunt for birds and, aside from their
Grandchildren, to them, there was nothing better than a good moose
hunt.
Survived by his stepdaughters, Jolene Messer (Joel) of McAdam
and Stephanie Harvey of Rhode Island. Sisters: Betty Donahue and Edna
Cleghorn (Raymond). brothers: Ronnie McIntyre (Lorraine), Harold
McIntyre, Jackie McIntyre (Rose). sister-in-law, Leah Loaf,
brothers-in-law: Rodney Trecartin (Norah) and Bill Trecartin (Candy).
He will also be missed by his grandchildren: Tori Messer (Ben), Tyler
Messer (Brittany), Gabrielle Messer (Adam), Cody Harvey and Brandon
Harvey. one great grandchild Aubree Guptill as well as many, many
nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by his
wife Linda earlier this year and several brothers and
sisters.
As per Lawrence’s wishes there will be no funeral service or
visitation. A graveside service will be held at Rockland Cemetery,
McAdam, NB at a later date.
For those who wish, donations to War Amps Canada (www.waramps.ca/ways-to-give/donate/
) or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
