Lavinia’s Obituary
Passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Notre Dame Memorial Health Center, Twillingate, Mrs. Lavinia Ginn, age 95 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charlie; parents, John and Claretta Hawkins; son, Edward; great-grandson, Charlie; sisters, Annie (William Burton) and Ethel (Gordon Wicks); brother, Roland (Doris Hawkins) and sister-in-law, Stella (George Hodder). Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her sons, Calvin (Florence) and Ray; daughter, Ruth; grandson, Jeremy (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Micah, Caleb, Julia and Anna; brother, George (Ada Hawkins) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Stoneville on Tuesday, September 14th from 2:30-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM following COVID government regulations.
The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Wednesday, September 15th at 2 PM for invited guests only. If you would like to attend the service, please contact Ruth at 671-3506. The internment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Stoneville.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Gideons or Loon Bay Camp would be gratefully accepted.
Special thanks to the staff of Twillingate Hospital, Dr. Anstey and Elaine Steele your help will be forever remembered.
