BROOKS, Laura Adeline
Laura Brooks went home to her Lord and Saviour, on Monday, October 25, 2021. She was 101 years old. Laura (Gohm) was predeceased by her husband Clarence Wesley Brooks (1916-1981). She was the beloved mother of Norma Currie (the late Lawrence) of Loring, the late Bernice Stillar (late Sheldie), Lynda Glenney (Paul) of Stoney Creek, the late Raymond (Pat Eades of Whitby), Pat Fleming (Dick Walters) of Callander, Paul Brooks (Liz) of Callander, Alvin Brooks (Barb) of Callander, Karen Tucker (Bill) of Bear Valley, Sharon Elliott (Graham) of Barrie, Joyce Davis (Henry) of Callander, Brenda Brooks of North Bay and the late Ken (Stephanie of Callander). She will be lovingly remembered by 26 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Laura was predeceased by her siblings Les Gohm (late Violet), Norman Gohm (late Wilma), Cliff Gohm (late Hazel), Eva Gohm and Grant Gohm (late Barb). Funeral arrangements are private due to COVID-19 restrictions and size of family. Interment will take place at Loring Community Cemetery. The Brooks family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Eastholme and to Margie Dament for their exceptional care of Laura. If desired, memorial donations to Arnstein Baptist Church, Eastholme Residents fund or Loring Community Cemetery are suggested.
