Obituary of Lance Mitchell
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lance Mitchell on Friday, June 11, 2021, at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 90. Beloved son of the late Lorne and Irene Mitchell. Loving Husband of the late Agnes Mitchell and the late Beatrice Christie. Special friend of Elva McMullin. Father of Susan McAllister (Jim), Robert Mitchell (Susan), Peggy Willet (Gilbert), Philip Mitchell (Susan), Lorie Mitchell and Linda Mitchell (Mark). Uncle and step-dad of Vickie Harris (late Rick). Grandfather of Michael McAllister (Katia), Kristy McAllister, Brad and Tyler Mitchell, Jassmine Melanson (Fern), Mathew Willet (Becky), Julie and Nick Willet (Mariah), Adam Mitchell (Chantelle), Jonathan Mitchell, Danny and Jennifer Gallant and Jeremy Harris (Sam). Great grandfather of Alexander and Liam McAllister, Keegan and Isla, Brad and Tyler Mitchell, Aja, Bailey and Asher Melanson, Brock, Caleb and Troy Willet, Brianna, Thierry and Chase, Liam, Cartier, Brooklyn and Hudson Mitchell, Jaxon and Lucas, Hailey and Aaron Harris. Uncle Lance will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. A private graveside service will be held. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd).
