It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Krista Gail Andrews announces her passing. Krista passed away with her loving family by her side at Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 at the age of 36 years.
Krista is predeceased by her grandparents – Ernest and Myrtle Roberts and Lewis John and Pearl Andrews.
Left with fond and loving memories is her spouse – Gill Strickland, Pilley’s Island, NL; mother – Blanche Roberts, Baie Verte, NL; father – Brian Andrews (Sherry), La Scie, NL; sister – Megan Andrews (Shannon Brinston), Calgary, AB; step-brother – Brandon Mitchell, Fort McMurray, AB; parents-in-law – Roy and Mable Strickland; her doggy – Scooter, along with a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.
Public Visitation will take place from The Salvation Army Citidel, La Scie.
Pastor Tony Roberts, assisted by Major Kay Barnes will conduct a Private Family Funeral at The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie NL. Interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, La Scie, NL. Additional Funeral Arrangement details will be announced as they become available.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Krista’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
“Our souls wait for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in Him, for we trust in His Holy name. Let Your steadfast love oh Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.”
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
