Kenneth’s Obituary
Kenneth Ashworth, long time resident of Deadwood, AB, passed away on January 21, 2021 in Manning, AB at the age of 85 years.
He was born on October 7, 1935 in Deadwood, AB to parents Joseph & Eleanor Ashworth.
Ken worked for many years farming and doing electrical work. He not only farmed but he was an organic farmer for over 40 years. He was an active member of the National Farmers Union, he was also a Trustee in the Peace River School Board and was a very accomplished woodworker.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph & Eleanor Ashworth, and his two sisters, Dorothy & Vivian.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Ulla Ashworth; sons, Neil (Holly), Erik (Lorie), Chauncey (Cheryl); daughter, Brigitta (Joel); sister, Rosamond; and as well as numerous other family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be announced at a later date.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Battle River Pioneer Museum as expressions of sympathy.
