TOPHAM, Kenneth George
Ken Topham died unexpectedly, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was in his 64th year. Ken was the beloved husband of Laura (Closs) of Powassan. He was the much-loved brother of Sandra Lockman (Rick) of Orillia and Karen Brazeau (Bill) of St. Charles. He was predeceased by his parents Doris (Weiler) (1926-2012) and George Topham (1925-1984). Ken is survived by his mother-in-law Mary Closs of Powassan. He was a proud uncle of his sister’s children Jamie, the late Rick, Kelsey, Shawn, Nicholas, Ryan, and Timothy, and great-uncle of Riley, Jaelyn, Hunter and Isaac. Kenny was also proud to be an uncle to Laura’s nieces and nephews Melissa, Amanda, Donny, James, Robin, Ryan, Hannah, and great-uncle to Alex, Isabella, Zander, Andy, Zack and Riley. Ken was a long-time employee of Purdon’s farms and also well-known for cutting lawns for many area homes until his stroke in 2005. His family will receive visitors at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan on Friday, December 31, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The funeral mass will follow at 11:00.
