Kenneth George Schermerhorn Tuesday July 20th 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear papa at 98 years of age, on July 20 2021, with his daughter by his side until the end.
Affectionately he was known as ” the gentleman in the yellow coat on Martin Road” and was respected and loved by all.
Born in Odessa, Ontario to Rosina Gadsby and Ross Schermerhorn, and his predeceased by his wife Marie, he leaves behind his daughter Donna Fletcher, grandsons Shawn and Brendon (Renee) and great grand daughters Ashley Marie (Rielly) and Meghan Renee.
He was extremely talented carving and painting but very modest about his accomplishments and truly dedicated to his family.
He’ll be stopping at the Rainbow Bridge before completing his final journey where his beautiful Sam has been waiting patiently for him.
Due to Covid 19 pandemic, a private family service has been held.
God speed Papa, you are greatly loved, respected and terribly missed.
