PRICE, Kenneth Alan “Ken” ~ Age 76, of Kingston, Kings Co. The family is sad to announce the passing of Kenneth “Ken” on Thursday, April 1, 2021, in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton, after a long battle with COPD and heart disease. He was a son of the late David and Eileen (Hancock) Price. Kenneth retired as a MWO armament trade with 26 years of service. He was a former member of the Kingston Lions Club and a long-standing member of the Valley Stamp Club. He is survived by his wife the former Carol Irving; son, Alan (Amanda); daughter, Karen; much loved grandchildren, Shelby, Freddy and Rachel; brother, George; sisters, Gwen Davis and Margaret Hazlett; numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. There will be no visitation or funeral as per Kenneth’s request. Interment service for close family and friends took place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday July 31, in Baxter’s Harbour Cemetery, Baxter’s Harbour, Kings Co., with Rev. Dr. Christine Marie Gladu (Kingston United Church) officiating. Family flowers only. The family would like to thank the Victorian Order of Nurses for their care and support during Kenneth’s illness and request donations in memory be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses – Annapolis Valley Branch.
