On Sunday, February 14, 2021, an angel was called to Heaven. Keith Alfred Keller, passed away peacefully, at University Hospital, London Ontario, after a short battle with leukemia at the age of 87. He was a much loved husband and best friend to Alice Keller for the past 4 years. Loving father to Warren (Sheryl) and Wayne (Sonya); and loving grandfather to four wonderful grandsons: Peter, Johnny, Owen, and Jack. Keith will be greatly missed by his brothers: Karl (Marg), Earl (Kathy), Murray (Pat), Roger (Barb), and George (Elaine); his sisters: Gloria Learn and Marlene (Roland) Gibson; sisters-in-law, Mabel Keller and Shirley Keller; brother-in-law, Bev Lindenfield; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Joyce Keller (2010); parents, Frieda and Edward Keller; brothers, Ken and Elgin; sisters, Marjory and Ruth; brothers-in-law, Mel Greb and Max Learn. He was a Godfather to: Ed Keller, Russ Gibson, Scott Keller, and Karen Vanweiran. Keith was born March 30, 1933. He grew up on a farm near Dashwood, Ontario and moved to London for a job opportunity working at Coleman Meat Packers for many years as a farm manager, until the company closed the doors. He then found his dream job at Labatt Brewery until retiring at 65 years old. He enjoyed travelling, vintage cars and tractors. He was an expert solo and euchre card player. He also loved spending time with his family and watching his grandsons play hockey, and baseball. He attended Faith Lutheran Church every Sunday. He also was an active member of the Hamilton Road Seniors’ Community Centre and really enjoyed the drama club. Keith’s family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the University Hospital for their compassion and dedicated care. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Registration is required to attend the visitation.

A private funeral service will be conducted at Faith Lutheran Church, London on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The family welcomes friends to view the service via livestream. To watch the livestream of the service, please visit www.facebook.com/faithlutheranlondon/
Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, attendance numbers will be restricted. Please be aware that COVID-19 protocols are in place which may preclude some from being able to attend and masks are mandatory at both indoor and outdoor services. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Keith are asked to consider the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or Faith Lutheran Church.
