Obituary of Katherine Smith Kaulbach
Kaulbach, Katherine Smith 92 of Bridgetown passed away Feb.23, 2021 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Lequille, she was a daughter of the late Linwood and Emily (Ritchie) Rice.
Kay enjoyed playing cards, knitting, reading and jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by sons: David (Joyce) of Lequille, Brian (Megan) of Bridgetown, Bruce (Stacey) of Paradise; daughters: Dianne (Brian) Nowe of Bridgewater and Susan (Robin) Fader of Bridgewater, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brothers: Edward of Moncton, New Brunswick and Linwood Jr. of Lequille; sister Eileen Barclay of Toronto. She was predeceased by her husband Earl, great grandson Noah, brothers Cory Rice and Frank Rice; sister Marion Wagg. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. A funeral service will be held 1:00pm Saturday August 14, 2021 from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Rev. Deborah Lonergan-Freake officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Donations in Kay’s memory may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
