Peacefully on December 17, 2021, 4 days prior to her 99th birthday.
Beloved wife of the late Nichola Spanjevic and late Josip Zalac. Loving mother of the late Slavica, late Mate, late Bare and late Anton. Predeceased by her parents Milka & Juraj Mance. Dear sister of Jana Jerek of Orlovoc, Croatia, and Bara Zupan of Kovacevac, Croatia. Dear Aunt of Helena and late Josip Mazuran. Great-aunt to Josip Mazuran Jr. and Juraj Mazuran and wife Amy-Jo and sons Simon and Andrew.
Aunt to Josie and Marko Kardum of Victoria, British Columbia. Cousin of late Mara Mazuran, late Barbara and late Ivan Poje of Windsor, late Barbara and late Dujo Mazuran of Brampton, late Nik and late Josi Mance, late Mary and Carlo Mance, late Sara and late Josip Mance and their families in Pennsylvania.
Kata was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for many years.
On Tuesday December 21, 2021 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
On Wednesday, December 22, 2021 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend the Funeral Services at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m.
Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest. You can reserve your time for visitation or seat for Mass at FamiliesFirst.ca (RSVP) or by calling directly. (Please note due to COVID 19 regulations attendance for cemetery services may be limited).
Memorial donations may be made to building fund at St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church.
