SCHMIDT, Karen (nee Saunders) – Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday May 15, 2021 at the Norfolk General Hospital. Mrs. Karen Schmidt of Simcoe in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Paul (1995). Loving mother of Tracy Saunders-Smith (Wayne), Dale Mulligan, Lorraine Barber and Nancie Hussey (Benny). Cherished Gram to Amanda, Missy (Mark), Jennifer (Chris), Joshua (Suzie), Nathan (Ali), Cheri-Lynn, Ashley (Jeff), Jessica and Joey. Great Gram to numerous great grandchildren. Karen will be sadly missed by many other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Due to Covid 19 regulations, Cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe.
