Karen Moss
1951-2021
Moss, Karen Rose – Passed away peacefully at her
residence in Cambridge at the age of 70. Beloved mother of
Christopher Moss and his wife Linda Perrier. Cherished
daughter of Nettie “Nina” and the late George
Moss. Karen will also be sadly missed by her brother Terence
“Terry” Moss and his wife Stephanie Jenkins-Moss
along with their children Michaela and Madison, who Karen deeply
adored. Karen will also be forever remembered by her dear
friends Ana and Bill Brazeau who helped play a central role in her
life and later her home healthcare, for that Karen and her family will
be forever grateful. The family also wishes to express a
very special thank you to Karen’s close neighbours and
friends, Ann Racher and Michalina Kocik, who were there for mom around
the clock in the last years of her life. Karen was a
lifelong educator, who dedicated her time nurturing the lives of many
students she taught over the years. Above all however, was
the love for her family and close friends, she was a nurturing mother
and caring friend to all who knew her. Due to COVID-19
restrictions, a private family service will be held at Corbett Funeral
Home, on Saturday July 3, 2021 at 1p.m., with interment following at
Parklawn Cemetery. For those who wish, the service will be
livestreamed and can be accessed with the link below. As an
expression of sympathy, donations made to Family &
Children’s Services of Kitchener/Waterloo would be greatly
appreciated by the family and can be made using the funeral home
