Justin Carl Harris Laverie
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Justin Carl Harris Laverie on the 10th of September 2021 at the age of 30.
Son of Carl Laverie, (Lisa Steadman) and Tammy Laverie-McDow, (Michael Hickey), Justin is survived by his father Carl, mother Tammy, and brother Corey Laverie. He will be sadly missed by his grandparents (Derek, affectionately known as Grumpy, and Karen Smith), many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his Great-Grandparents (Harris and Violet McDow), Grandmother (Elizabeth King), Aunt (Patricia McDow), and his Uncle Mike (Michael Smith) with whom he had a special bond.
Born in Halifax, Justin graduated from Dartmouth High in 2011. Most recently, Justin worked for Lake City Woodworkers refurbishing computers. He also spent many years of his youth playing baseball with Woodside Minor Baseball Association.
Above all else, Justin was a loyal friend and he could always brighten your day with that infamous grin.
Rest in peace, Justin. There will never be another like you. Forever in our hearts; gone but never forgotten.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Justin Carl Harris Laverie June 17 1991 September 10 2021..
