Obituary of June Clark
June Margaret Clark passed away peacefully at Bonnyville Extendicare, Bonnyville, Alberta, July 17, 2021 at the age of 95 years.
June was the first of four children, born to Brian and Pearl Payne in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on June 15, 1926. They moved to homestead in Beacon Hill, Saskatchewan in 1933, and in May1947, June married the love of her life, Red (Hubert) Clark.
June is lovingly survived by: her four children, Joy Laycock of Edmonton, Geri Thibeault of Bonnyville, Larry (Marni) Clark of Strathmore and Pat (Rose) Clark of Lac La Biche County; 14 grandchildren, Todd (Maria) Laycock, Greg (Keri) Laycock, Lori (Bruce) Atkinson, Dawn Thibeault, Mark (Chelsea) Thibeault, Jarrad (Tina) Malley, Trudy (Allen) Warren and Trina Boostrom; 21 great grandchildren, Emily, Brendan, Ben, Dawson, Madison, Curtis, Kim, Zack, Zander, Zoey, Henley, Tricia March, Brittany, Brenden, Megan, Brooke, Julia, Maria, Darcy, Shilo and Shamus; one great-great grandchild, Olivia; sister, Jane (Walter) Kowalozuk of Whitecourt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
June is predeceased by: her husband of 58 years, Red (Hubert) Clark in 2005; brothers, Doug and Bob Payne; sons-in-law, Ron Thibeault and Basil Laycock; and great granddaughter, Tessaundra.
No Service will be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of June may be made to Tyler Chislett Memorial Fund or Donor’s Charity of Choice.
