It is with sadness, yet loved-filled hearts that we share the peaceful passing of Judith Doyle age 71 years on December 25, 2021 after a short illness.
Predeceased by her husband Kevin, her parents Doris and Kevin Marrie, her husband’s parents Patrick and Madonna Doyle, brother-in-law Joseph Doyle and nephew Greggie Oliver. She is survived by her children Mark (Carmen) and Karen; grandchildren Kelsey, Ezzy, Drea and Bridie; sisters Sr. Elizabeth (RSM), Mary (Bruce Doulton), Barbara (Robert Black), Susan (Tom Connors); brothers Gerard (Jeannie), Doug (Madeline), Pat (Peggy Templeman); her father’s wife Genevieve; sisters-in-law Mary Oliver (Ches), Anne Marie Foote (David) and Jean; brothers-in-law Anthony (Margaret) and Pat (Shelley); special friends Rene and Rhonda Wicks; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbours. Judy was a person of generous spirit who was lovingly devoted to her children and grandchildren and who nurtured relationships with each family member, whether near or far.
She enjoyed bowling, singing in Chordially Yours and the friendship and laughter of fellow choir members during memorable outings and trips. Sincere gratitude to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre.
Mass of Christian Burial is from St. Theresa’s Parish, on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 9:30am followed by inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those who wish to attend the Funeral Mass please contact a family member. A VaxPass and ID are required to attend. Those unable to attend are welcome to view the live streamed service from a link that will be provided. Donations in Judy’s memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Kidney Foundation St. John’s Chapter.
